Reclamando las greñas is an homage to my hair routine, which has become a self-love ritual. I have decolonized my hair routine by taking agency over it and rejecting Eurocentric beauty standards, perpetuating the idea that textured hair is not beautiful. In a single roll of 120 film, I have created a timelapse documenting this ritual, which has taken years to grasp what works with my curly hair.
